The Oakland region’s Green Industry Cluster is comprised of a variety of key institutions and companies, including the University of California, Berkeley; Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and a host of emerging Green Industry companies including:  Amyris Biotechnologies, Borrego Solar, Blue Sky Bio-fuels, EarthSource Forest Products, Sun, Light & Power, Bright Source Energy, Touchstone Environmental, KEMA Green, Taylor Engineering, VBN Architects, and a host of other environmental engineering, geotechnical, design, and consulting firms.

The Green Industry Cluster Group has identified and is working on a number of strategic initiatives with the objective of capturing more of the emerging green tech and clean technology industries in Oakland and the region.
