Find opportunities to green Oakland schools and
reduce emissions by covering Oakland school rooftops with solar panels.
MMA Renewable Ventures, a third party financier for solar installations, is
working with the Oakland Unified School District and other property owners
who will consider next steps for implementing energy efficiency measures by
putting photovoltaics (PV) on school and other rooftops. MMA was
recently awarded a New Markets Tax Credit and would like to use a portion of
the allocation to finance solar installations (at no cost) on schools and
other appropriate sites in Oakland.
